Recently, I was asked what other countries in Eastern Europe are worth checking out, other than Ukraine, which is the place I’ve made my home on and off for the last 3.5 years.
And, truthfully, I think it’s easiest to explain like this…
There’s several distinct areas within Europe.
Western.
East.
Balkan.
Baltic.
Central/East.
Scandinavia.
There’s very firm, easy to understand boundaries where entire regions are stuck in a time machine. Some regions managed to jump ahead to the US-level of efficiency, some are just a bit behind, but gaining, and some are way back in the early 1900s…
