Last week, for the first time in my life, I joined a co-working space.
I was going absolutely insane inside my home.
We’re on yet another lockdown here in Ukraine, from January 8-24, and that means no restaurants and cafes are open.
Usually, I’m quite happy to work from home, and then go out to lunch, or maybe work in a cafe for the afternoon part of my day, but without that being an option…
I was going stir-crazy.
It got me thinking again about how liberty-less and how bad actual lockdowns are. There’s no science behind it, no proof whatsoever that they actually work, and, to boot, it’s a double edged sword.
What do I mean?
If lockdowns “work”…THEN “THEY” ARGUE WE NEED MORE OF THEM.
If they DON’T work…”THEY” STILL ARGUE WE NEED TO LOCKDOWN MORE STILL.
See what I mean?
You can’t win, no matter what.
Same argument with masks can be made.
Meanwhile, you won’t hear any experts talking about the downfalls of locking innocent and normal people inside their homes for weeks on ends, and the kind of mental toll it can take on them.
It’s absolutely crazy to me that all of this is allowed, but humanity as a whole is continuing to make it’s slow march to absolute submission and slavery.
We will see how it all plays out, and I reckon we’ll see a lot more play out this week…
In the meantime, if you want to get ahead of the game and get abroad — maybe check out my old “Dating Abroad Podcast” archives for some inspiration.
