There was a video conference call with the two people running for City Council in my district. I asked about the situation where oppressive property taxes were driving me to leave my city. Oppressive as in the taxes alone are as much as my mortgage payment, homeowners insurance and property taxes in escrow. Their response was to make city more affordable, they needed to raise taxes. Insane.

Let me add a dose of insanity on to this…
My friend here in Kyiv was just voting recently, and on his ballot was this…
Should there be an amendment to the Colorado constitution requiring that to be qualified to vote at any election an individual must be a United States citizen?
Apparently in Colorado that’s NOT required to vote in local elections right now…
I won’t lie, I thought it was the opposite — and that people (libtards) have been pushing not change this. I guess they don’t even need it changed though, on some levels.
That would be like my friend and I demanding to go in and vote for the mayor of Kyiv (they had their elections last week).
Crazy, isn’t it?
More:
You add in the stuff that Matt said, like raising taxes to make the city more affordable — it’s no secret whatsoever that record amounts of people are fleeing both these cities and the country as a whole this year. Sadly, I suspect it will continue to get worse and worse in the coming months and years.
The good news?
We’ll know more very soon once the election happens.
Until then?
Best prepare yourself for the worst and hope for the best.
Which is why I created “Insurgent Alliance” to begin with.
The goal?
To help individuals, namely men, to escape the horrors that are fast-approaching the Western world and to show that a better way of life is, in fact, possible.
